Kinetic Type-25 Frames

These are 25 frames taken at equall intervals of 1.36 seconds throughout the 34 second video, I am now going to look at the same video again and take 25 screen grabs of the bits that I think show important changes.

Kinetic Typography

Old Spice Commercial - Smell like a man - Kinetic Typography from Fox In The Box on Vimeo.

Karmadrive 2009 from Kaleb Coleman on Vimeo.

Favourite Colour -Tokyo Police Club Typography from sam rees on Vimeo.

Sound of Silence - Typography in Motion from Andi on Vimeo.

Conan O'Brien Kinetic Typography from Jacob Gilbreath on Vimeo.

Helvetica In Motion from Positive Pictures on Vimeo.

Rockwell from Jordan Clarke on Vimeo.

Here are some examples of kinetic typography, they all use different methods, the ways the type comes in and out of the frame, how the viewers eyes follow the words and the way the type moves and morphs.

The Alphabet

The Alphabet from n9ve on Vimeo.

Here each letter is being represented with a typeface whose name beggins with the letter, the morphing between the letters works really well in this video and the letters never move position in the frame.
